Breadsticks are great as everyone else reviews. Been there three times Pizza sub standard I've had better from little sleazers and dominos if that helps Driest pizza I've ever had hands down Congrats! Not sure if all the great reviews means south lyon has low standards You get the point If you're a breadstick fanatic This is your place Otherwise you'll get about as much satisfaction from a McDonald's drive thru.

I can't think of anything bad to say about Aleko's. The staff is always super friendly and the food is always great. As others have said, the breadsticks are in a league of their own!

Came here a few days ago and finally had something other than breadsticks. We ordered two small pizzas and a pita sub. The sub was delicious, and I'll for sure be back for more. Green peppers, feta cheese, beets and olives, everything tasted so fresh. The pizzas were.... Ok. I think the sauce was missing salt. It tasted fresh and homemade compared to other chain pizza places like Jets and Benitos... but it just didn't hit us as amazing. Personal preference, I'm sure, and I still would encourage anyone to try their pizza and form your own impressions. One thing's for sure is they're pretty (uploaded picture). And of course, their breadsticks are delicious :) Oh, and I haven't even mentioned how wonderful their service was. They treat you like family, especially the lady that's usually there.

Very mediocre food and the service was pretty bad. We were one of four other tables and it took forever to get anything. Won't be back.

I really like this place. I used to stop in at the place whenever I was in the South Lyon area and now that I live a bit closer I eat here more frequently. I'm sure most of us can agree that the bread sticks and cheese spread are AMAZING and usually that is what I'd order. Recently, I ordered their mostaccioli just to try something new and I wasn't sure I would like it because I rarely find a restaurant that serves good pasta (I'm picky). It was delicious and the guy who works there - I believe he is Aleko (don't quote me on this) was extremely polite. He gave use free bread while we waited and a free drink and the food wasn't even outlandishly late. I highly recommend.

Pizza is pretty good, antipasto salad isn't that good. Their bag of bread is the best bread I've ever had! The owner is a great guy too. We get bread from here every time we have a party and there usually isn't any left over.

Ordered a pizza and breadsticks from here when I was at Witch's Hat. I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing the breadsticks are. There is no comparison...best I've ever had. The pizza is also very good. I was extremely satisfied with my meal. The prices are a little high, but it's worth it. They obviously use high-quality ingredients there and make everything from scratch.

My husband and I stopped by here after visiting the always-wonderful Witch's Hat. I ordered the mostacciolli, my husband ordered the Italian sandwich. Upon the behest of the other reviewers, we also ordered some of the breadsticks. The mostacciolli was pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but something I'd order again. It wasn't bad and it was something I did enjoy eating. The bits of sausage in it were a little unwelcome since they tasted frozen and premade. The veggie bits in it were a welcome addition. My husband's sandwich was decent. Again, nothing really mind-blowing, but pretty good for size vs cost. He said he'd order it again. The breadsticks were delicious, yes. I'm not sure why people are orgasming over them. They were very good, but nothing that I'd really have an out-of-body experience for. I'd definitely order them again, they were delicious, just not to the level that others seemed to imply. All in all, I would come again. I feel as if I need to try the ribs and chicken. My husband and I will likely go that route next.

This place has been around for awhile and has always been good. We love to stop in for carryout before heading next door to Witches hat. They have great sandwiches, chicken, salads and delicious bread sticks. Pricing is a bit higher than your typical chain pizza place but the quality is much better to.

This place has the best breadsticks and cheese dip around. I usually go to this place just to get breadsticks but sometimes I get the salad and they use toasted pieces of their delectable breadsticks as croutons. Overall this place is fantastic and one of the places that made the move back from Chicago worth while.

South Lyon has some incredible food establishments to choose from, arguably the best in Southeast Michigan. Aleckos is a staple of this community and boy does it deliver. Out of this world pizza, bread sticks, salads, sandwiches and pasta. It is the go-to Italian restaurant of my fiancé and I. We often dine in, which is super casual (no wait staff), but the customer service is always warm and energetic. This is one of the few places that I would be willing to fork out more money for, but luckily for the average consumer, prices are reasonable. An easy five stars.

This is in my opinion one of the best places in south lyon!! We always get the same lasagna and bread. It's a family ran business and you can tell the owner really cares. We have catered a few parties too! Definitely a favorite of my family!

Have lived in South Lyon 3 years and are so sad we haven't tried this place before now!! Had the Greek salad and Italian pita sandwich and breadsticks - oh my - it was all so amazing!!!! Those were the best breadsticks I've ever had and you can tell the ingredients are all so high quality. The sandwich was all top notch ingredients - pita made in house - so soft and fresh - yum. We got to talk with the owner, who was so nice and made us feel so welcome - this is a place we will now frequent and tell everyone about!! Highly recommended!

I miss Aleko's! I used to work in their plaza and would have a salad from there almost every day. They really do have great bread sticks, and I love that they use them to make croutons for their salads. Delicious!

Ironically we went here for pizza when we moved in 2 yrs ago but weren't impressed and it was expensive vs. the other in town options. Oneday a friend was talking about their breadsticks and we gave them a try OMG OMG OMG they are awesome and the garlic butter type thing they offer is great too! Went back and tried a pita sandwich and it was very good too (altho a bit on the expensive side) wife and I have split a sandwich a few times but on pizza night grabbing a bag of bread is a must!

Aleko's can be a bit pricey, but they've always had great food. My preference has always been their ribs. They have great greek salad and the pizza and sandwiches are good too. What am I thinking?!? I almost forgot their bread sticks, which are by far everyone's favorite.

The bread here is awesome. The pizza is decent, and not as greasy as most of what I've had in town. There's also a wide variety of other items on the menu. You could choose the ribs, chicken or a variety of burgers. My husband and I haven't had anything we didn't like. South Lyon is growing fast, and Aleko's is there to help all the newcomers have an enjoyable evening out, with or without kids.

The breadsticks and garlic cheese dip are out of this world. My gf and I have literally ordered just that for dinner before. The pizza is also good. The owner is a really nice guy if you get to meet him.

We went in here STARVING! Literally, I had only had breakfast that day and when we got there it was 7pm. I was dying! So, I overdid it a bit when ordering food for my little family of 3. Whatever, we have been feasting on leftovers for days! We got 2 pepperoni pizzas which were ok, they are also buy one get one free every day! I am not in love with the sauce but it was good none the less. We also got some ribs which were fall off the bone, for real, you can't pick them up, use a fork! They come very heavily sauced which I thought I would hate but it was actually pretty yummy. My daughter wanted mostacholi, she loved the little bits of sausage and peppers and it came with yummy cheese melted on top. Their Greek salad is delicious, I order it with ranch. You should order their ranch dressing too because it is habit forming, put it on everything!!! Which brings me to their crack sticks, I mean, bread sticks. Let me pause here a minute to mop the drool from my chin. If I was stuck on a deserted island with a crate of this bread I would wave off the rescue boat. Even when it goes stale, if you pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds, it magically comes back to life. Dip it in the ranch!! They also have this garlic cheese dip that they graciously gave us a sample of, it was super yummy! Try that too! I have a feeling that we may become regulars. There is so much left on the menu that I have not tried yet!
